I made this list a while back and thought I might as well post it here so you know what my tastes are. It’s a mixture of greats and favorites. I was able to make this list thanks to MovieMeter.nl, where I have kept track of and graded every single film I have seen over the last few years (and the ones I remember seeing before that, too). By our count, I’ve seen over 3,000 films - which I don’t think is bad for a 24 year-old kid. Or which is very bad for a 24 year-old kid, if you look at it from the other angle.

So what I did was this: I looked at all the films that I had given 4.5 and 5-star ratings, and from there compiled the following list:
